As I mentioned above that Liza has a textile line collaboration with Cotton and Quill; her second line came out in April at Highpoint. The first collection was a ‘marble’ collection, and the second is a ‘chinoiserie’ collection. Each are offered in cotton, cotton linen and sateen.
‘Cotton and Quill has been wonderful to work with as they work closely with me to make sure we come up with the best repeat, color edits and how it will be marketed.’
Currently both lines have been used in upholstery and my ‘silver’ chinoiserie will be used on all furniture in a living room, stay tuned! Both lines can be purchased through Cotton + Quill.
Below is a shot of Liza’s chinoiserie fabric on a fully upholstered sofa and chairs. Doesn’t it look fabulous?!

Liza has a very bohemian style; she loves to mix the old with the new. As she just moved into her new home on Lake Roland, she painted everything Benjamin Moore, Simply White, which allowed her love for color and texture shine through. This great shade of white is the perfect backdrop for her colorful furnishings and art, some of her art collection features a few of her pieces, her mother’s work and many other artists.
I hope you enjoyed getting know a little more about the talented artist Liza Hathaway Matthews! Below are more images of her work! Be sure to follow Liza on Social Media to see her latest and greatest: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
