Today I thought I’d share with you a company I was introduced to in High Point. While in the IHFC building, I got to meet a company that my designer friend from Atlanta, Jessica, is friends with-Tritter Feefer. They have amazing products ranging from traditional to modern. (I will post on them another time) While I was talking to the owner of the company he was telling me of his friends from Birmingham, Alabama that had a booth in the IHFC building as well, Lucy Smith Designs. And of course, once he said Birmingham I knew I had to stop by!! Hello!! I have to support a fellow Alabamian from my hometown. But she’s actually from Anniston, not too far from my hometown.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to get to stop and have a convo with them 🙁 For those of you who don’t know, time is not on your side at High Point, you are running around like mad trying to see everything! I’m hoping to contact them via email and get a one on one with them. I’ll let ya know how that goes.
But back to Lucy Smith Designs. Lucy originally an interior designer decided to use her family’s empty steel warehouse to explore a passion for product design. And it only seemed natural to use metal since her family had a century old metal business. Lucy creates beautifully hand-crafted metal pieces, ranging from mirrors to seating. Her pieces are clean-lined with a classic, timeless look. I am hoping to one day own one of her pieces!!
So enjoy some of her pieces I’ve spotlighted below. What do you think? Are you as much a fan as I am?
I’m in love with this cocktail table!
